Tiffany G. Thomas holds an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University and a Master’s in Social Work from Louisiana State University. She began her mental health career as a psychosocial rehabilitation coordinator at a community mental health agency in Mississippi, receiving mentorship from therapists and psychiatrists.
Driven by a passion to serve underserved communities, she moved to Memphis, TN, where she worked with children and adolescents in mental health crises. Her interest in how providers diagnose youth led her to valuable insights. Later, she transitioned to working with severely mentally ill adults in a psychiatric hospital, treating conditions such as PTSD, schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety, including patients from jail settings.
Her journey continued at the Memphis jail, where she discovered the overlap between mental illness and substance abuse. She then co-led an intensive outpatient treatment center, helping individuals with recovery and sobriety. Known as “the best friend” by those she helps, Tiffany is committed to providing therapy and life coaching to anyone in need—whether dealing with mental illness, substance use, or simply seeking support.
